Ways to cook beetroot

Trying to find different ways to include beetroot into your diet can be difficult. So, rather than just adding it to a sandwich during your day, try either roasting or boilingthe superfood.

According to Hello Fresh, if you’re roasting, simply wash the roots, wrap them individually in foil and place them on a baking sheet. Then, roast them in the oven until you can easily pierce them with a fork. Once they’re cooled down, peel the skin and enjoy!

If you’re boiling beetroot, simply boil a large pot of water and while you’re waiting,wash the roots and have a bowl of iced water ready. Then, once your water boils, add the beets and simmer until the beets’ skin can be easily removed. After this, remove the beets from the pot and place them in the bowl of iced water, dry them and peel off the skin.
